Bio- Gracie, although being a well loved princess, hates how ponies treat her like a whole different creature to them, with all their bowing and praises. She tends to run off and hang around with the normal ponies of the Empire and Ponyville.
Gracie is quirky and hopeful, often not knowing what to do in public when ponies praise her. She is a big daddy's girl, and loves her Auntie Luna most of all.

Because she is so sheltered, she has yet to earn her cutie-mark, and is constantly trying to earn it.

Gracie tends not to hang around her cousins, Artemis, Star Power, and Apollo (yet to be drawn), because they are serious about their authority and tell her to take her status seriously. They are often annoyed by her antics, and tell her to grow up and accept the fact that she is a leader and should act as such, which makes her greatly dislike them.

Her best friend is Fuji Apple, whom she flies to Ponyville to see often. They love each other's company as outcasts in their families, Fuji being the only unicorn in an all earth pony family, and Gracie hating her position as Princess.

She is a bit naive, and follows others blindly, which Fuji helps her overcome at times. 

She later becomes romantically interested in Golden Gala (yet to be drawn), Fuji's cousin, because he treats her like a pony and not a princess.
